This page explains what personal information we handle, why, and what your rights are. It covers both this website and the AI agents we build and run for client businesses.
Who we are
Hooper Digital Solutions is an AI automation agency based in Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa. We build AI agents that handle enquiries for client businesses over WhatsApp, voice calls, SMS and web chat. For anything privacy-related, email Jared@hooperdigitalsolutions.com.
What we collect
If you visit this website and use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name (if you give it), what you’re interested in, and your message. We don’t run analytics on this site.
If you talk to an AI agent we run for a client business — over WhatsApp, a phone call, SMS or web chat — we collect your phone number, your name, the content of your messages and calls (including recordings and transcripts of voice calls), and the details of your enquiry, such as your budget, location and timeline.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries sent through this website.
- To answer questions, qualify leads and book appointments on behalf of the client business whose agent you’re talking to.
- To pass your enquiry details to that client business so they can follow up with you.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
The client business whose agent you’re talking to receives your enquiry — that’s the point of the conversation. Beyond that, we rely on a small set of service providers to make our systems work:
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) — delivers WhatsApp conversations.
- Anthropic — AI processing of messages and calls.
- Airtable — stores enquiry and conversation data.
- Cal.com — books appointments.
- Retell AI and ElevenLabs — power voice conversations.
- Telnyx — carries phone calls and SMS.
- n8n — connects these systems together.
- Vercel — hosts this website.
Some of these providers process data outside South Africa. Where that happens, we only use providers that commit to protecting personal information to a standard consistent with South African law.
How long we keep it
Website enquiries are kept for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry. Data collected by a client’s AI agent is kept for the duration of our engagement with that client, after which it is deleted or handed over to the client. Clients can ask us to delete their end users’ data at any time — and you can too.
Your rights
Under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how it’s processed. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforeg@justice.gov.za).
If you’re in the European Union, the GDPR gives you the same rights, plus data portability and the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
Access and deletion requests
Email Jared@hooperdigitalsolutions.com and tell us what you’d like — a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. We’ll confirm it’s you and respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This website doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use tracking or analytics tools. If that ever changes, we’ll update this policy first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
