An AI receptionist that answers every call, day or night
Most small businesses lose work not because the marketing failed but because the phone rang while everyone was busy. The enquiry goes to voicemail, the caller phones the next business on the list, and nobody ever knows the job existed.
An AI receptionist removes that failure entirely. It picks up on the first ring, every time, whether it is one call or fifteen at once. It talks to the caller in a normal conversation, works out what they need, books them in, and hands you a written record of what was said.
What a missed call actually costs
A missed call is not a neutral event. The caller has a problem right now, and they are working down a list of businesses until someone answers. The first business to pick up usually wins, regardless of who is better or cheaper.
The traditional fixes all have holes in them. Voicemail asks a person in a hurry to wait for a callback. An answering service takes a message but cannot answer a question or book anything. Hiring a receptionist covers office hours, one call at a time, and stops when they go home.
An AI receptionist has none of those limits. It does not queue, it does not sleep, and it handles the tenth simultaneous caller exactly as well as the first.
How it works
What we actually do
We learn your business first
Before anything is built we write down what you sell, what you do not do, your prices or price ranges, your service area, your hours, and the questions customers actually ask. That document becomes the agent’s knowledge base. An agent that guesses is worse than no agent, so it is built to say "let me get that checked for you" rather than invent an answer.
The agent is built and given a voice
We build the conversation itself — how it greets, what it asks, when it pushes for the booking and when it backs off, and what it must never promise. You hear it and change it before it ever answers a real customer.
It connects to your calendar
The agent reads your live availability and books into it during the call, so the customer hangs up with a confirmed time rather than a promise that someone will call back. Double bookings are not possible because it is reading the same calendar you are.
Every call lands in your CRM
After each call, the name, number, what they wanted and what was agreed is written to your CRM or spreadsheet automatically. If the agent could not answer something, that gets flagged so a human can follow up.
We tune it on real calls
The first weeks of real calls always reveal things no script predicted. We read the transcripts with you and adjust — this is the part most AI phone products skip, and it is the part that decides whether the thing is actually useful.

Questions we get asked
Will callers know they are talking to an AI?
Some will and some will not, and we do not recommend trying to hide it. The agent introduces itself by name as your assistant. What callers generally care about is getting a correct answer and a booking, so the priority is that it does both well.
What happens if it cannot answer something?
It says so and hands over — either transferring to a real number or taking the details and flagging the call for a human. It is built to never guess at a price, a promise or an availability it cannot verify.
Can it replace my receptionist?
It can, but that is usually the wrong way to think about it. Most businesses use it to cover what a person cannot: the after-hours calls, the overflow when three people phone at once, and the weekend. Your receptionist stops losing the calls they were never able to reach.
Does it work with a South African accent?
Speech recognition varies with accent, background noise and phone line quality, so we do not assume it will cope. We test with your real callers during the tuning period, listen specifically for misheard words in the early transcripts, and adjust the agent from what we find.
How long does it take to set up?
The build itself is quick. The honest bottleneck is the knowledge base — how fast you can tell us what you sell, what you charge and what you refuse to do. Businesses that have that written down already move considerably faster.
Can I hear one before I commit?
Yes. Abby, on this website, is our own AI receptionist — the same product we sell. Open the chat on any page and put real questions to her.
