Cinematic video without the crew, the studio or the week
Until recently, a cinematic product shot meant a studio, a lighting rig, a camera operator and a day of everyone’s time. That put the look out of reach for most businesses, which is why so much small business advertising uses stock footage that could belong to anyone.
AI production has removed most of that cost. Shots that were previously impossible or prohibitively expensive — liquid suspended mid-air, an impossible camera move, a product in a setting that does not exist — are now a day of work rather than a production budget.
Why most small business video looks cheap
Usually because it was filmed on a phone in bad light, or because it is stock footage a hundred other businesses are also using. Both read as generic, and generic gets scrolled past.
The alternative was a quote for a production day that made the whole idea collapse. So most businesses simply do without video, or post something that undersells what they actually do.
The constraint was always cost, not ambition. That constraint has largely gone.
How it works
What we actually do
We start from what the video is for
A paid ad, a product launch, a property listing or social content. The format, length and pacing follow from that — a video made for everything works for nothing.
Concept and shot list
What each shot shows and why it is in the sequence, agreed before production so we are not generating variations and hoping.
Production
Shots generated, reviewed and reworked until the sequence holds together. The work is in the selection and iteration rather than a single generation.
Edit, sound and grade
Cut to the right length with pacing, sound and colour treated properly. This is where most AI video falls down — good shots cut badly still look amateur.
Cut for each placement
Delivered in the aspect ratios and lengths each platform needs, rather than one landscape file cropped badly everywhere.

Questions we get asked
Will it look artificial?
Badly made AI video does. The difference is in the iteration and the edit rather than the tool. Our showreel is on this site — judge the output rather than the category.
Can you feature my actual product?
Yes. Real product footage and photography can be incorporated so what appears on screen is genuinely what you sell, rather than an approximation.
How long does a video take?
Days rather than weeks, and the timeline is dominated by iteration and approvals rather than production itself.
Do you use AI-generated people?
Only where it genuinely fits the brief, and we will always tell you when a person on screen is generated. For anything representing your actual team or customers, we would rather use real footage.
